DINING

Rosemary Beach

  • Pescado Seafood Grill & Rooftop Bar - (FAVORITE) our favorite restaurant in Rosemary and the best view of 30a! It's on the rooftop (indoor and outdoor seating) and I do believe they take reservations. Good for a small group (4-8 people) or a date night. Oh and on the first floor of their building, they have a piano bar.
    • Havana Beach Bar and Grill - inside the Pearl; delicious food and they do take reservations. The rooftop bar is awesome (obviously since that's where our reception will be hehe.) The restaurant has been remodeled since the photos on their website were taken, by the way.
    • Cowgirl Kitchen - casual, in the heart of Rosemary, very small inside but there's also outdoor seating along main street. Bud light on draft which makes Matt happy!
    • Gallions - beautiful, newer restaraunt with a cocktail bar and I am making it a priority to try it on this trip since we've only poked our head in there to look around!
    • La Crema Tapas & Chocolate - a tapas place on main street that people come from all over to go to! I have not been but hoping to try! I do not think they take reservations.
    • Restaurant Paradis - everyone in Rosemary raves about this place! I believe it's reservations only. I would say this is a good date night place based on what I've heard but I have not been. Add it to your list to try and let me know :)
    • Edwards - my mom and I ate here once for lunch in the courtyard and had a really delicious meal - for me personally, it's a bit too fancy for me to eat lunch there again, but more of a dinner-vibe.
    • Playa Bowls - acai bowls for breakfast right on main street

    Alys Beach

    • George's At Alys Beach - (FAVORITE) they don't take reservations, but there's a rooftop area you can wait and have drinks. It's worth the wait and could be good for a small group (4-8 people) or a date night. They're known for their spicy salt & pepper shrimp and lobster quesadillas!
    • The Citizen -- highly acclaimed, no reservations, best for a date night, the atmosphere and food are immaculate!
    • Raw & Juicy - acai bowls and muffins, etc. We love to go on our morning walk from Rosemary to Alys and get breakfast here (if you have kids, they have the most aesthetically pleasing playground you'll ever see)
    • Fonville Press (market & cafe) - a new coffee shop that I have not been to but looks amazing!
    • NEAT - tasting room and shareable bites

Outside of Rosemary Beach (short drive 5 - 10 minutes)

  • Old Florida Fish House - (FAVORITE) I just love this place!! It's like 5 restaurants in one. Lots of space, great for big groups! There's a huge outdoor area, an oyster bar, a sushi bar, a piano bar, etc. etc. They have live music and some of the best grilled oysters EVER! And extremely cold draft beer (an odd thing to remember but amazing nonetheless.) They are also known for having great sushi! Also a good place to bring kids. We made a big reservation here for Saturday, April 29 at 8 PM if anyone is already in town and wants to join us here
  • The Donut Hole - really good breakfast, 5 minutes from Rosemary. Expect a wait with a group - you can also get donuts to go. Their breakfast isn't fancy - it's a huge menu and think Waffle House style food plus much more (not quite the atmosphere of a waffle house.)
  • amigos 30a - located at 30avenue which is an upscale dining and shopping outdoor shopping center. Really yummy Mexican food! And their sister restaurant, amici, next door is Italian.
  • Shades - sports bar vibes, walkable from Rosemary Beach. This is where our after party for the wedding will be and a good place to go if you want a bar to hang out at late night since most bars and restaurants in rosemary close around 11 PM.
  • Lola - never been but a nice restaurant in Inlet Beach; there's a Starbucks, pizza place, ice cream place, all in this same little town center.
  • Seaside

Our ceremony will take place in Seaside. It's about 7 miles (20 minute drive) and so if you find yourself over here one afternoon whether you're a bridesmaid at the rehearsal on Tuesday or a guest and you arrive early to the ceremony on Wednesday, you may want to check these places out!

    • Bud & Alley's - adorable and delicious; rooftop eating right on the beach. We always try to snag rooftop bar seats to eat lunch and get drinks. One of the most popular and picturesque restaurants in Seaside!
    • Modica Market - okay, this is a market not a restaraunt. However, they have a deli counter where they sell delish crab cakes and the BEST fresh squeezed mimosas. You get like a half gallon container of mimosa for $10. Highly recommend!
    • Great Southern Cafe - known for their shrimp and grits. Also, they have a container bar next door that is really neat and worth checking out! And on the opposite side, they have a walk-up bar called b.f.f. that serves frozen drinks to-go!
    • Food trucks - 30a runs right through Seaside and there is a block with just food trucks lining 30a - all the options you could want!
    • PARKING IN SEASIDE: visitor parking to Seaside is at Smolian Circle -- check out this website for instructions and directions. Everything in Seaside is walkable (including the Chapel!)
